My best friend Michelle is expecting her first baby and is decking out her nursery with Teddy Bears Pilots. I loved the idea and ran with the theme for her baby shower! I worked with her sister and close friends to create a fun beautiful shower perfect for Michelle! She is the last one out of our friends to have her baby so we are all full of advice, and we all can’t wait to hold the new little arrival planned to arrive in July 2015.

Invitation I created & Party Favor

I made some signs for the candy bar and party games. I played with the theme and created a logo using their last name.

“In Flight Snacks” for the Candy Table!

We decorated the tables with Aviator Teddy Bears and cloud balloons. I found the balloons on Amazon and got a great deal on the aviator helmets, only $3.50 on eBay (so cute)!  To complete the look I created the pilot badge and scarf from felt. They were inexpensive to make but, very cute for a custom look!

The main attraction was the Candy Bar! Who doesn’t love a table full or amazing sweets that taste just as good? I made a banner using some 4th of July décor I had left from last year and made them look custom with cut outs of the logo and clip art that I used on the invitations. The cloud background is actually wrapping paper I found at Michaels and I used my Cricut cutter to make the, “It’s a Boy” banner. It also made a great backdrop for photo’s! For the sweets the girls came over and we made chocolate dipped marshmallows, chocolate dipped rice crispy treats and bear paw cupcakes (Thanks to Pinterest for some great ideas!!).

We added décor that can be reused for the babies nursery.
Initials for the babies name… but the name is still a secret! Shhhh…

The candy bar was a hit and so was the shower. Everyone had a great time and I know my Bestie loved all the hard work we put in! Now it’s time to wait for their new arrival to show up! I can’t wait!!
